Thomas (PhD) holds a diploma in business administration and a PhD in marketing from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany. After a brief stint as associate researcher at the University of Liechtenstein in 2016, he joined the Clausthal University of Technology in 2017 where he held a professorship (Junior Professorship) in Management and Market Research. Since February 2022, he is Professor for Management of Digital Transformation at Clausthal University of Technology.
His current research focuses on psychological aspects of digital marketing and transformation of innovation as well as entrepreneurship in the digital era based on techniques such as Structural Equation Modeling, Qualitative Comparative Analysis, Meta Analysis, Conjoint Analysis and Implicit Association Tests.
He publishes his research in academic journals, such as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Interactive Marketing and others.

Robert (PhD, habil.) holds a diploma in industrial engineering and management and a PhD in marketing from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany. In 2015, he finished his habilitation in the field of business administration at CAU Kiel, Germany. He joined Grenoble Ecole de Management in January 2017.
His current research focuses on consumer and (industrial) buyer behavior and, more specifically, on quantitative research methods to tap into these behaviors. He pursues research in the field of sustainability innovations, online marketing, and food decision making as well as international management, cross-cultural marketing and service management.
He publishes his research in academic journals, such as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Journal of Interactive Marketing, International Business Review, and others.
